Before writing my own review/guide about jailbreaking iphone ios4.0.1

I used alot of ways to jailbreak my iphone 3GS ios4 but i can't really get through..
at last www.jailbreakme.com is launch again..
So i just try it out with my iPhone 3GS ios 4.0.1
I don't know whether Iphone, Iphone 3G, Itouch 2G, Itouch 3G is available
but you can try with your own risk
@ Go to Safari in your iphone and surf http://www.jailbreakme.com
Then you will see something like this..



wait the site to load finish and slide it to jailbreak..
wait for it and don't ever switch off your phone
If the installation is running after sliding then you are lucky!
But based on my experience
I slide and
 i tried for about 100 times but it's still on the purple screen..
and the installation don't work
Something like that



this is due the the server problem..
but stay cool and be patient and wait for the time comes..
If you are totally fed up with it,
u can try to 



CLEAR HISTORY
CLEAR COOKIES
CLEAR CACHE
in the safari settings
and restart safari and try again
Make sure u turn off the Block Pop-ups option and
turn on the JavaScript

After Jailbreaking..

Cydia will be installed in your iphone..
Cydia- is a software similar to APPSTORE
but it's much complicated with sources, manage and etc
What is the point of jailbreaking your phone?
That is because
you wanted to download cracked full games from apptrackr.org right?
So at 1st u need to go Cydia and wait it to load.. cydia loads quite slow honestly.
You will see something like this when you are in Cydia



then tab "manage" 



and tab "Sources"
then tab edit and tab add



add in
@ cydia.hackulo.us/
@ iphone.org.hk/apt/
@ sinfuliphonerepo.com/
if there are problems pop out.. then just tab continue..
there won't be any problem with the sources
after put in those 3 sources.. u will find 3 things under 'ENTERED BY USER' category
then those sources will be useful for you in the future
After put those sources, then tab on the search and search for
@ INSTALLOUS



tab on it and install it.. maybe it needs to respring or restart springboard.. then just wait for it..
every respring, don't be afraid.. just wait it.. maybe 1 minutes,..
After installed Installous then go and search for
@ AppSync for OS 4.0 



then install it
then most probably you are done..
now u just go to the www.apptrackr.org and find the games or apps u wanted and download it..
the file format will be '.ipa' after downloaded the apps.. then drag the apps into your itunes 9.2.1 under the APPS category
or double click the apps...
Then sync on your iPhone
For your information, the Cracked games or apps will be either '.ipa' {MOST} or '.deb'{RARE}
I will try to put a guide on how to transfer .deb files into iphone in the future
@ With the Installous, u can download any games or apps in your phone directly...
after download it and install it.. thats all..

2. SBSettings
(Let you to kill processes or adjust any settings by a single slide)

3. Installous
(Download or search any useful apps or games)

4. WinterBoard
(Apply downloaded themes)

5. 5 icon Dock
(Put 1 more icon on your menu dock)


See? you can put 5 icon on your dock..
You can choose and download the iphone themes from Cydia..
After you know how's cydia works on your device..
then you will slowly know what to do next.. =D

UPDATE#2 IOS 4.0.2
For those iphone users that is still on firmware 4.0 or 4.0.1, please don’t update your device to 4.0.2
Based on my information, “i just know that Apple (finally) released firmware 4.0.2, which patches the very large security holes exploited”
which means, if you update your device to firmware 4.0.2 then you can’t be abble to jailbreak anymore…
Stay cool with ios 4 and 4.0.1.. you still can jailbreak your device using the Update#1..

UPDATE#3 IOS 4.1
For those iphone users with still on firmware 4.0 or 4.0.1, please don’t update to the latest firmware IOS 4.1
Even though jailbreaking is legal now, but i still can’t figure it out why Apple still trap users from jailbreaking.
For IOS 4.0.2 and IOS 4.1, there is still no jailbreak method for it. IOS 4.1 is just a trap for iphone users.
If you updated IOS 4.1 on your iphone, then you will lose your jailbroken software and there is possible that you can’t jailbreak it anymore.
